Christina's Back to Basics

So how do you like the new Christina Aguilera CD with the innuendo-filled name?

I'm listening to it now. It's not... great. But it's definitely better than a lot of her work. I still like Dirrty. What? Don't look at me. It's a nice song to dance to in clubs.

Anyway, I think the CD has its low and high points.

It doesn't really sound like the rest of her work... she's going with that "old-time" music, hence "Back to Basics."

I really like it alot, it has very old-school feel to it, and to me she is, and will always be 1/10 of the greatest voices of all time. (Whitney, Mariah, Patti, Aretha, Billie, Andrea Bocielli, Celine, Cyndi, Sinatra, and Christina)

She has an amazing voice, and I really do appreciate that she actually tries to go different places with her talent. I mean from Reflection to I Turn to You to Beautiful to Oh Mother? C'mon this girl is amazing. I really do like her, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

I heard it when it first leaked two weeks ago, and I'll admit it - when I first heard it, I wasn't into it. However, I usually don't like a CD much when I first listen to it. I bought the album today and I'm really starting to love it.

I like the second disc the best. My favorite songs are Slow Down Baby, Oh Mother, Candyman, Hurt, and The Right Man.

No matter what you think of Christina, you've gotta admit that she has an AMAZING voice.
