Radiohead - In Rainbows

Fri Oct 12, 2007 6:41 am

So...who listened to Radiohead's new album, In Rainbows? It was released on the 10th.

So. The thing about this album is that for the digital download, you can decide what price you want to pay for it. There's also the discbox, which costs £40 and has a bunch of extras. (And yeah, they're not in a record label at the moment.)

We're poor at the store, so payed all of £0.43 for it. Listened to a few of the tracks, but wasn't really impressed with the high-pitched R&B Thom or much else. Nude was alright. The quality isn't as bad as the audiophiles make it out to be if you actually listen to it. Still, it's a good idea.

I've been thinking about downloading it, but I'm not sure how much I should pay for it. Being a musician, I should support other musicians, especially independent, innovative musicians such as Radiohead. But being poor in real life, I don't really want to pay more than $1.00. I'm very torn.
