Gwen Stefani...solo act

Are you looking forward to a solo Gwen? I've never been a big fan of No Doubt but its not like i despise them. I just don't know how she's going to pull it off going solo. Also i don't think she needed to go solo because its not like the other members sing or anything but its her choice. I've heard her new song once. I don't remember any of the lyricsor the tunes so i don't know exactly what that means. Anyone else heard it?And wht do you think about Mrs. Stefani?

Ah, her solo career. I've only heard her new single once, yesterday, it's called "What You Waiting For?". The song's background music seems a little too much to me.

Personally, I'm a fan of No Doubt, but I'm not that fond of Gwen's voice...the band has talent, but by herself, she's not really great material.

I like the early No Doubt stuff, but apart from that, I'm not really interested, I doubt I'll like her solo stuff.

I'm not really a fan of No Doubt to start with and I find Gwen Stefani annpoying, so I'm pretty sure I'll hate her solo material.

Am I the only one here who actually liked No Doubt?! I don't know whether I'll like Gwen Stefani by herself because she was quite rocky with No Doubt but she dida duet with Eve that was really urban.

I love No Doubt, old and new. I've yet to hear the solo Gwen. But... correct me if I'm wrong, No Doubt will still be around, Gwen will still be with them, this is just a solo project on top of being with the band, right? I think that's what I heard.

But it can be like Destiny's Child. Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle went their own ways for a while and have now come back to form another CD. They said they'll be doing this continually. I just heard Destiny's Child new song on the radio yesterday.

Haha strange, me too. The one thing that bothers me...is the lyrics.

"Take a chance, you stupid *silence*" is what some stations here play. While others play, well, the not-as-silent one... And the music video's way too long for its own good.

But hey, the "tick tock" thing is catchy.

Strangely enough, I like Gwen's solo song.

It's no tthe type of song I'd go for normally, but for some reason, I just like it.

Has anyone seen the video for her new single? She's various characters in the novel and movie, 'Alice In Wonderland'. It's strange.

I have a strange fascination with Alice **nods**

But as much as I like the video, and the song is catchy (Yoshi, that line cracks me up SO much!) I still say Gwen sounds much better with the rest of the band.

wow, i didn't hear a thing about gwen going solo...
i wasnt a big fan of no doubt, but i dont like their newest stuff... "tragic kingdom" was better
anyway, i'm gonna have to listen to her songs to actually give my opinion =P
