Heh heh heh...
For the longest time, I'd always remarked how similar The Romantics' "What I Like About You" and John Cougar Mellencamp's "R-O-C-K in the USA" sounded...
Then one day
I did something about it.
Since then I've made a few more of these bootleg mixes (also known as "mash-ups"), improving my technique each time:
- Rick James's "Super Freak" vs. MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This"
- MC Sar & the Real McCoy's "Run Away" vs. No Mercy's "Where Do You Go"
- Aqua's "Barbie Girl" vs. Papaya's "Pink Dinosaur"
- Madonna's "Into the Groove" vs. Madonna's "Causing a Commotion"
All of the above can be found on
my mixes page.
If your media player can't play Ogg Vorbis files (I know that Winamp can), download and install the Ogg DirectShow filters, found
here.

Nickelback sounds the same as, well, Nickelback.
Every... single... song... the... same...
Hehe. One of my friends pointed me to this one:
Nickelback vs. themselves - How You Remind Me of Someday
(Ignore the .MPEG extension your browser may try to save this with; it's an MP3 file.)
I also highly suggest
Stark Effect's bootleg mixes, especially "Under Ice".
