That's the trouble, people seem to forget about the band themselves, and focus on Amy Lee. :/

Perhaps because she is the lead singer. When I used to like bands, I always cared about the lead singer, not the rest of the band. Anywho, it is Evanescence not only Amy Lee. She didn't even write the song "My Immortal". That was Ben Moody.

I was at work tonight and the music was on-- I sing along with nearly every song. The best ones though, are the ones where you catch other people singing along too. Some of the ones that it happens most often with are:
Maroon 5 - This Love
Alicia Keys - If I Ain't Got You
Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit
Outkast - Hey Ya
When you hear ten people all burst into singing at the top of their lungs, it's great to sing along (and you don't even have to be embarrassed).

Loads of songs make me want to sing but as I have a phobia of singing in public, I don't. :P

ABITW! PART TWO!!! Wait...are you talking the actual part two, as it's labeled (the one that goes we don't need no education, that part has the bird crying), or are you talking The Happiest Days, the song after part I? Let's see...my turn.

Hang On - Michael W. Smith
Fly to the Moon - Michael W. Smith
Prince of Peace -...Michael W. Smith :P
(and to get of the Smitty kick...)
Cartoons - Chris Rice
She Will Be Loved - Maroon 5
8 Easy Steps - Alanis Morissette
Backflip - Raven-Symone
Dreams - Diana DeGarmo
Fly - Hilary Duff
What Dreams are Made Of - Hilary Duff
Emotional - Diana DeGarmo (I don't care if I don't know the lyrics!)
Vertigo - U2
Lean On Me (oh, boy...) - Kirk Franklin and Nu Nation, Crystal Lewis, Mary J. Blige, Bono , R. Kelly (Thoia Thoing. :P) and some other people I've never heard of
I think that's all.

Yeah, unfortunately happens a lot. I guess Amy Lee is the "face" of the band, which is fair enough. :)
