As opposed to "songs that make you smile." What songs bring a tear to your eye whenever you hear them?

For me, it's:
A Fond Farewell - Elliott Smith
Hear You Me - Jimmy Eat World
Listen To Your Heart (terrible song, but I associate it with camp memories)
Late - Ben Folds (this one always gets me.)
Konstantine - Something Corporate
Love Her - Seether

Let's see...

Cat Power - "Good Woman"
Eric Clapton - "Running On Faith"
Jeff Buckley - "I Shall Be Released" & "Hallelujah"
Johnny Cash - "First Time I Ever Saw Your Face"
Nick Drake - "Road" & "Which Will"
Norah Jones - "Humble Me"
Ryan Adams - "Wonderwall" [cover]
Placebo - "Without You I'm Nothing"

Just a few that bring me closer to feeling sadder than most other songs can currently accomplish.

There's no such thing as too much music! Only not enough.

I can't think of any songs that make me cry off the top of my head. It really depends on the mood I'm in.

"The Luckiest" can make me cry because I want so badly to have someone feel that way for me, haha. I would love to have such a lovely song written for me.

There are only two songs that have ever made me cry.

"I will Remember You" by Sarah McLaughlin and "Sing" by The Dresden Dolls.

-Amber

Rod Stewart - "I Dont Wanna Talk About It"

It just says everything I've ever felt about hurting someone and being hurt.

Yeah, some of the weirdest stuff makes me cry. That's just out of stuff on my iPod, there are some songs from the '80s and '90s I don't have.

A few songs can make me sad or make me cry:

Wake Me Up When September Ends, Green Day
Listen To Your Heart(Unplugged), D.H.T.
The Real Thing, Gwen Stefani(I dunno why, but it kinda makes me sad.)
Because of You, Kelly Clarkson
Rush, Aly & AJ(It only makes me sad a little but doesn't that count?)
Confessions of a Broken Heart(Daughter to Father), Lindsay Lohan
Don't Speak, No Doubt(I love this song but it makes you sad)
