:D Because J-Pop is so darn cool.

If you don't know what it is, j-pop is japanese pop. Some of the more popular artists are Hikaru Utada (of Kingdom Hearts/Simple and Clean Fame), Ayumi Hamasaki, and Megumi Hayashibara (a famous voice actress, but she's done ton of singing too.)

I'm currently in love with Puffy Amiyumi. They did the Teen Titans theme, but I love the songs Cosmic*Wonder, Destruction Pancake, and K2G.

Another great artist is Sowelu. Though I first heard of her on pop japan.tv, I got totally hooked when I heard her as the ending song for Fullmetal Alchemist (afuredasu, namida nara, ima wa tomenakute ii~) and I also love Glisten and Fortune by her.

I really like Mika Nakashima right now. I don't know why. I think it's because she has a slightly baroque pop sound.
I'm obsessed with ZONE as well, but I haven't been able to find an downloads of their songs. :/

I like some J-Pop..I'm quite fond of Rika Matsumoto..if thats her name. I don't remember. She sings a lot of Pokemon stuff..and Megumi Hayashibara is pretty good.

I'm sure this is odd coming from me since I am no Anime fan,but I used to be one and I loved Japanese music. I have never been able to let that love go. It just makes me feel really peaceful.

I think I can buy the full album from Wizzywig.com in the near future. I know they have L'arc En Ciel, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
ZONE is so adorable, though. Their new guitarist is hilarious. I loved the interview on Pop.Japan.Tv when she was feeding everyone goofy answers. ;P

Kitten Medli : What stopped you from being an anime fan?
My favorite Megumi Hayashibara song is Treat of Goblins. ;D

I think Tofu Records is the only distributor of japanese cds to america..:S They brought Nami Tamaki and TM Revolution over too.

You mean the pop japan.tv compilation? It was so adorable!

Most Anime crashed with my religion or ended up being too icky. Cursing,nudity,etc..some Animes are clean and such, but hard to come by.

Not necessarily. There's some very cute animes out there (like Sweet Valerian!), you just need to know where to look.

Koku!!!! : Yes! Actually, Tofu Records has dealings with Wizzywig as far as I can tell. Unless they sell to them through a different distributer. They sell T.M. Revolution, Nami Tamaki, etc cds.
You're still jealous of my Nami Tamaki and L'arc En Ciel A-kon glimpses, hm? ;P
Yes, the compilation! My dad thinks they are insane now. "How can those girls be so chipper? Doesn't it get old? Perhaps they just.. I don't know.. injected suger into their veins. It's very frightening."

Kitten Medli : I think you were watching the wrong Animes. There are a lot of new Animes coming out that are very "youth oriented". They lack religious themes, cursing, nudity, adult situations, etc. You just have to find out what something is before watching it.

L'arc En Ciel glared at me.
They had nice hair, though. I was jealous.
Nami was really good live. She hopped around a lot, though. I wish we had been able to sit in the auditorium and watch the Cosplay Contest, then we could have seen her up close, but instead we saw her from the next room on this giant movie screen.

Wait, I though that L'arc En Ciel were all guys?! O.o

Anyways...

J-pop rocks! I'm into Hikaru Utada, T.M. Revolution. and M-Flo. I'm kind of getting bored of Ayumi Hamasaki, but Ayu is still a wondeful singer! I also like ELT (Every Little Thing) and Mayaa Sakamoto. Myco is kewl too.
