Sports discussion. Towel whipping is strictly prohibited. It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.

Does anyone here do trampolining? I have been doing it every thursday for the past few weeks and can do
-seat drop
-full twist
-tuc jump
-pike jump
-straddle
-Swivel hips
and I am just going onto front drops and we will be doing flips soon.
I really like trampolining and want to know if anyone else feels that way.
BTW: me and the trampoline I have been useing are engaged.

I took a few infrmal lessons as field trips in summer camp last year...never really learned anything, but it seems cool. I'm currently looking for a place near me that offers it.

I love doing straddle jumps. I can do all of those including, seat-to-seats (my record is 12 in succession), front drops and front-to-fronts. And many other variations.

I used to do gynastics and trampolining before my back stuffed up =/
I can't even remember what I could do.
I still have a trampoline at home but it really hurts my back after 5 mins, and it's too smal for flips.

Trampolining? I've never heard of it used as a sport before! I just thought this was kind of funny. I'm a horrid trampolinist (is that the word?) though, as I'm not very cordinated.

*looks up some of the terminology* I used to do all that, although I didn't know the names of it all. Didn't figure most of it really needed names, it was just all jumping to me.
Of course, that was back in my teens when I owned a trampoline. Now I can't even do a front flip anymore. It's funny how one's sense of self-preservation grows stronger as one gets older.

Trampolining is awsome Twitchy ^_^ We had to train on tramps when we couldn't use the pool for springboard diving.

*never considering trampolining a sport so much as a recreational activity, but will play along*
Trampolines to me are places where I can do gymnastics moves I'm too afraid to do on the ground (which basically includes everything but tumbling). I can do the standard front/back flips and the like, and could probably do a lot more if not for sheer fear of death.
