Major League Baseball [Hot Stove League]

Disturbingly enough, I can't seem to find a topic for MLB. So here it is. Go crazy, Foulke fans...
Okay, I know nobody's going to get that.

Anyway, who are your teams? I'm a serious Red Sox fan (as many of you know), and my NL affiliate is the Cubs.

Yay, another Sox fan :)

They've been doing pretty good lately. I read in the paper yesterday theyve won 25 of their last 30 games.

Mwahahaha. I'm a huge Red Sox fan as well.

They actually have been doing pretty good, as opposed to the last couple of years :P 25 out of their last 30 is pretty good. They're getting better, and I'm hoping I'll live to see the day when they win the series. (That may take a hile). I don't care what people say, Yankees suck. We're just cursed.

Imagine the riots if (and when) the Red Sox win the Series. Just imagine.

I'm a bit of a Yankees fan, but before you jump on me, I'll give the Sox credit. They've been doing very well recently. And yes, the Yankee pitching (excluding El Duque) hasn't been very good.

I kept meaning to make a topic like this, just never got around to it.

I'm another Sox fan too. Hopefully this'll be the year they win the World Series.

My NL team is the Phillies, but that's only becuase my dad is a fan. I'm a AL girl.

Yea for another Phillies fan...we have had a rough season this year...typical Philadelphia. My AL team would have to be Baltimore though, although I like the Red Sox too.

Ditto. Oh I'm so lazy. Anyways, I live and die by the Sox. Hopefully I'll be partying in the streets of Boston this October. :)

Since most of you are Sox fans, are you thinking division or wild card so far? ;)

Haha, that's just what my dad says too.

I root for the O's (when they aren't playing the Sox), basically because they're my home team. I'll defiantly be rooting for them tonight since they're playing the Yankees.

A lot of Sox fans here, eh? It's gonna be a close one this year.

Division. The Yankees are sliding; they have no pitching. At this point, the Sox are only 2 1/2 games back.

The Yanks won and Boston lost today. Back to 3 1/2, I think.

They'll get it back. The Sox still have 6 games left against NYY.

Even if Boston doesn't win the Division they'll most likely win the wild card. Right now we're something like 5 games ahead of whoevers in 2nd.

Yeah, five games ahead of Anaheim, and eight ahead of Texas.

I think it's pretty safe to say the Yankees will lose tonight. It's 17 to 3 and the top of the 8th. :D
