For those who dont know what GITS is.. it stands for Ghost in the Shell.
Has anyone watched this yet? I saw the trailer like weeks ago and it looks AMAZING... the sound and animation really blew me away. I even watched it acouple times a day hehe >.<
I really wanna go rent it or borrow it from a friend but i heard the EST is REALLY HORRIBLE.. so can anyone tell me about the quality of the movie?
I wanna wait for the dubbed version hehe :p wonder how long that wil take..

Knowing Dreamworks and their previous anime releases, it's doubt there is going any dub of Innocence. They only release sub only in more of an art film release.
I'm kinda wary of getting the DVD although I've been wanting to see it for a bit (I'm a bit of a Ghost in the Shell fan.) I'm a bit turned off that there it isn't a standard subbing method (it's done closed caption style) and cover art...yuck >_<

My dad and I rented it about a week ago. It was decent, but it wasn't nearly as good as the first movie. I think I prefer the first movie and the series over this one. The animation was indeed amazing, but the story itself was a bit slow. It had it's great moments, but as a whole it just didn't seem to go anywhere. However, Batou's adorable puppy has a lot of appearances. Those were probably the best parts of the movie.

I prefer the original Ghost in the Shell because I like the androids. :)

I still haven't seen this movie, but it's definitely on my list.
