Samurai Champloo

Rap music + feudal Japan + samurai = one very quirky, stylish anime.

For those of you who don't know what Samurai Champloo is, that's probably because it's so new that it hasn't been released in the US yet. It is licensed, so I can't post links to the fansubs, but nevertheless I recommend this show, whether you download or wait for it to come to Cartoon Network (I think it's going to be on Adult Swim this fall). The animation is amazing. The action is fantastic.

But the story is...a little annoying right now, because the plot is so loose and episodic. Maybe it's just me.

And somewhat randomly: I love Mugen. Jin and Fuu are great, too, but Mugen rocks.

It was the same way with Cowboy Bebop. They are made by the same people.

Fuji TV cancelled its airing in Japan and is being put on a satellite TV network, starting at episode 1, so we won't be seeing episode 18 for another 18 weeks.

Awww man.... Oh well I'm only up to ep 15 anyways XD

Ah right-o. Anyways I really liked the end of ep 15. I think she was serious ^^ They'd make a cute couple!
