I've seen a few ads for it on Cartoon Network. The one where the girl is totally absorbed in the book is hilarious! I don't have much money, or I'd get the OVA first as you guys have reccomended. I will watch it on CN though!

This one shows what happens before ROD the TV I THINK!!! remember i just think, if it is true then we'll get to see Junior's parents who are totally nutzoid...and the Paper, and Miss Deep...should be good, but no promises, i like the Paper sisters better, they have more problems...

The special on CN was really cool. That comes before the TV series, right? I thought it was excellent.

Tim has started calling me Yomiko now because of it.

lol He says I'm extremely like her because of my intense love of books and general attitude.

Ah, the joys of DVR. I worked my way through the entire program, so I can watch it whenever I get around to it. Probably after my dad stops watching Najica.

I saw it on Saturday, and it was insane. I believe the OVA is completely different from the TV series.

Completely different? How so? The places in the city were the same, as well as some of the characters. The organization is also the same, as well as the book they show.

I read that it was different. I think it was in Animerica magazine.

As the resident person that watches way too much anime AND has watched both I shall clarify:
The OVA is not completely different from the TV series, expect to see some of the characters come back in the TV show.
The TV show happens a while after the OVA, the girls also happen to be fans of Yomiko and wonder where she has gone.
I cant actually explain why its not different without spoiling the hell out of it.

My good friend is obsessed with ROD. I haven't seen it yet, we meant to watch it together but we never got to chance to before she moved. It seems interesting, I might get the DVD's. And all of you are just making me more curious about what it will be like.
