The most interesting theory I've read from the rabid anime fans is that Ed is turned into a homonculous XD. *Thinking* Do humans have to die in conflict and misery to create alchemy for Eds world? Otherwise if we become too peaceful alchemy dies out?

Mabey Ed does something about that, and that's why he's dead?
I doubt We've seen the last of Hohenheim either.

I wish Hohenheim would've been more used, he's such a cool character.

Did they ever explain the reason why he left other then saying "he left to study alchemy".

Apart from what ^ said, I think he also dispaered so Dante couldn't find him.

Episode 51 was good, but it still has you thinking Smaggurnit! They're back in square one again!

Also, how will we get ahold of the FMA movie, will people fan-sub it or are we stuck wating for to come out in the U.S?

Considering its not out yet in Japan, estimates have been given at 1.5-2 years/

Someone probably WILL fansub it. It just might take a while. You can still watch a raw, though.

The ending sort of dissapointed me. :( But I guess you could kind of see the direction they were taking the series. Hopefully the movie wraps everything up. Also, was anyone else weirded out by the scene where Envy turned into a dragon?

I wasn't because in the manga he can turn into animals. It may have been symbolic of his lust for vengance, aren't dragon's asociated with revenge?
Or am I reading way to much into things....

The serpent is on the mark of the ouroboros. It's a symbol of a serpent eating its tail. It's no coincidence that he would turn into a serpent.

Then why wasn't he eating himself?

He didn't have any A-1 steak sauce.

Indeed. Sometimes the ouroboros has 2 serpants, each making up half the circle.

This is the one used in the series.

My Ouroboros I use has an 8 pointed star in the center...

The star in the center are two triangles over each other, forming the Star of David.

I know, perhaps I should go see what the Star of David means or something.

I'm sorry that I'm a hapless shlib that doesn't even bother to research any anime data whatsoever, but I have no idea what the he** you guys are talking about. I only the stupid basics from the begining. The only way I know this anime is by the game, which is coming sometime in 2005 via our good friends at SquareEnix. It is indeed an RPG, although the mechanics are unknown. But Alfonso is playable in some form, and Alchemy will be the order of the day.

Now, I shall step aside and let the informed continue to put my knowledge of anime to shame. *Hangs his head low and goes to cry in a corner*

Wah! Why can't Yu-Yu and Kenshin be enough any more! I'm such a loser!
