I'm not a fan, but I've read both 'Inkheart' and 'The Thief Lord'. I liked TL better, though I truly loathed the ending. I hate hate hate it when books change genres so suddenly it's confusing. The switch from realistic fiction/adventure to fantasy was faster than the blink of an eye, to me. The book was good, but the ending wasn't exactly as good as it could have been. :/

IH wasn't as good as TL, though it was fantasy from start to finish, and it wasn't really bewildering to me, but none the less.

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .

I love Dragon Rider, and I think its her best book.

Its not confusing like inkheart, and quite straight-forward

Like everyone else, I've read The Thief Lord and Inkheart (Although I've bought Dragon Rider, I haven't read it yet).

I absolutely hated the first fifty pages of Inkheart. Thankfully it started to pick up later on.

I found The theif lord quite good, and went through it in 2-3 nights while in Paris in march of last year. It was an easy read, though I did not like that she made the head theif guy some little rich kid. I enjoyed their revenge with the merry go round though.

I am a little over half way through with inkhart, but have not cracked it open since probably april of last yr, though I remember the plot quite well. I do have plans to finish, but school reading does get in the way.

Dragon rider is currently in the closet, to be read ASAP.

oh, the thief lord. is that the one book with the kids that are trying to get away from being adopted or something, and they get taken in by the thief kids that live in a theater? I think I've read it. I remember being slightly dissatisfied with the ending, but I read it sometime last year, so I don't remember particularly well. I read it during a time when I was checking out about 10 books every three weeks from the library, so some of them blend together ;)
