Fearless by Francine Pascal

Anyone here a fan of Fearless? I'm on number 31, and I'm getting the rest of the series for Christmas. Geez, I can't believe the series is over. I always thought it was going to go up to at least 50. Then again, writers are humans not machines. :P

My favorite characters are Ed, Gaia and Mary. You just gotta love fearless Russian girls, skate rats and insane recovering addicts. ^__^

I've seen the books and read the backs. They look interesting. I'll have to check them out sometime. Didn't they make this series into a show too?

I own just about half of the series... Started reading them about 5 years ago.
Its also funny its been mentioned now, I just got an email from my dad today, and he told me that he borrowed books 29-34 from the library for me (we live in seperate countries), and that he was going to bring them over next week...

And my favorite character was Sam, to bad hes...... heh.

I never bothered seeing the show. I've read about it and it's horrible. Completely unreleated to the books. Bleehhh! :( I love the series, it's amazing. I've laughed, I've cried...and now I spread it wonderous joy.

Yeah, Sam is pretty awesome, except for a certain something he did with Ella. I still don't forgive him. :x

=O What a coincidence!

I read up to about book 25 a few years ago, and have just recently started rereading the series (I'm on book 3 now). I was thinking about making a thread, but I see I've been beaten.
Besides the greatness of the plot, the books are just written really, really well. I love how you get to see things from different people's points of view. I love how you get the little tidbits directly from the characters (sort of journal entry style). And I love how the characters and situations are written in such a real and raw way. The author doesn't tread lightly for the sake of being politically correct. She writes things exactly how they would be if the situations were real.

I really like that series :)

The books appear überslowly in Finland though (and Sweden, that's where they make 'em, and then send the Swedish versions to shops in Finland, and yes, I read them in Swedish)... so I have only read the books 1-7 or something like that.

I usually skip the journal entries... They never have any action ;)

My dad brought me a couple, so right now I'm reading #29... Obviously I missed a book or two, since I just found out Sam isn't dead... Or maybe he never was dead, I just remember reading once that he got shot, and from Gaias point of view he was gone.

Exactly! I feel like I know my way around New York City now just because of the books. (But then I go there and find out...I'm not Gaia.) :P
I'm rereading them again too. The series is almost over. I need 3 more books and I'm done. *cries* Why must my favorite series always end? I'm so excited about the ending...I wonder what will happen...

They're doing a new series about it though. Since this one ended and all. And since y'all haven't gotten to the end yet like I have, let me just tell you, the ending is really good, even though ending a series is horrible.... *tear*. I have them all, but I only read half of number 2 because I lost it.

Actually as of now I finished the series. I dunno, the ending was sudden. Personally I really think that...WARNING: SPOILER AHEAD!

I think that she should have brought Ed. They were so cute together, and obviously they both really love each other. Blah. I will miss Ed.

It was good though. I loved it.

i agree, but the new series should be good and *SPOILER (maybe)*

maybe the series Fearless FBI will have Ed? who knows...
