Anyone know of any really good books, written by Canadian authurs?
I have to read a book by a Canadian authur, and do a book report on it.
Any suggestions?

Kenneth Oppel, the guy who wrote the Silverwing series, is from Canada I believe. That's all I know.

It's not really fantasy, but it's historical fiction... My favorite Canadian writer has to be Dave Duncan and his Blades series. There's tons of material in there for an english project, consider Paragorn Lost as a comparison to Russian politics. Tons of swordfighting and action, if you're into that stuff, along with a smidgin of witchcraft and devilry. Not much in the realm of dragons and unicorns, not really stereotypical fiction.
DaLint (sp?) I believe is also a Canadian fantasy/fiction writer, but I have not read any of his works.
