Silas Marner

Has anyone read this? I have to read it for school, and I read the first few chapters and I want to kill the author (or go back to the 1860s and kill her then)! She has like 20 word sentences, and it's kind of confusing. I know the book is supposed to teach you moral stuff, it's so boring!

No I havn't read it. Are you far into it? Are you sure its boring. It bugs me when people get assigned books in school and they just ASSUME they are boring because they are homework and they never give the book a chance. If you read something, being sure the whole time it's boring, then you definately aren't gonna enjoy it.

But what do I know, maybe its incredibly boring.
