Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand is particularly amusing...
Rumors by Neil Simon was good
Asleep on the Wind and Graceland by Ellen Byron were okay...Asleep on the Wind's sort of sad...Graceland's more humorous
-.- Haven't read that many plays yet...that's all I have...or can remember

Cyrano de Bergerac has already been mentioned.
Harvey is also great, on the lighter side.
Inherit the Wind.
Man, it's been awhile since I've read plays myself.
Don't forget works by Ira Levin. Oh, and Agatha Christie's Mousetrap (is it still running in London?).
