Robert Jorden, Author of the Wheel of Time has died. He managed to beat the doctors estimates of his lifespan quite thoroughly, but he was still terminally ill.

What?! That is sad. I had read somewhere months ago that he was ill, but I guess I didn't think he was that ill.

That's terribly sad. Myself, I was more upset when Madeleine L'Engle passed away, but still..
