I just finished New Spring by Robert Jordan and I'm starting Shatterglass by Tamora Pierce .Both are good books, New Spring is shorter that the rest of Robert Jordan's Wheel of time books though.

I've reread Harry Potter and OoTP. It's not very "high literature" but then again I don't like high literature.

Um well I'm in the middle of a few right now...

Mind you I'm a Christian and my choices in reading strongly reflect that.

Heaven Taken by Storm, by Thomas Watson (you wouldn't have heard of it, it was written about 400 years ago)
Desiring God, by John Piper
Systematic Theology v1, by Norman Giesler (seriously)
Sowing, Reeping, Keeping, by Laurence Singlehurst
St Augustine's Confessions, by St Augustine (who else)

I also just finished The Jesus I Never Knew by Philip Yancy and Don't Waste Your Life, by John Piper

Um yeah... I'm a bookworm...

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

Battle Royale, the manga. I just almost threw up after the second one. VERY gruesome.

I'm still reading Barenaked Ladies: Public Stunts, Private Stories. I swear, I will finish that book someday. After that, I'll probably read Riding In Cars With Boys again. And maybe this year I'll get my summer reading done.

just read all the ahrry potter books (been in bed the past week feeling awful) and ecently read evolution by stephen baxter (mankinds evolution from the grim ages of the late cretaceus to a distant future were mankind is a slave race...to trees?)
the andromeda strain by michael chrichton (difficult to explain) and numerous other books which i dont remember.
but im considering reading storm of iron

Quote:
Storm of Iron
Review by Enigma,

Something of immense value is hidden deep in the citadel of Hydra Cordatus, something that the Iron Warriors will go to any lengths to capture. And it won't be easy, the citadel is immense and manned by thousands of Imperial guardsmen backed up by several huge titans and a vast armoured company But the Chaos forces are legion and the Warsmith's three commanders - Honsou, Forrix and Kroeger - all have something to prove. Failure is not an option.

Storm of Iron throws the reader headlong into one of the most enthralling stories of siege warfare ever put down on paper, combining a meticulously conceived battle plan with great characters truck loads of intrigue and an amazing sense of pace. What more can I say, this is a really really enjoyable read.
with its page on the black library site being -http://www.blacklibrary.com/bookdetail.asp?id=159

or possibly nighbringer, which doesnt seem to have a page...
but sufficed to say, a group of space marines are sent to a planet who are getting a bit uppity, it soon turns out that a dark eldar (space elves) are attacking the planet...looking for something.
this something turns out to be a star vampire, old as the stars themselves that has been starved for millions of years, and is worshiped as a god by the mysterious necontyr.
and he aint too pleased at the eldars interuption.

I went to see The Crucible on Broadway a few years ago. Mmm, Liam Neeson.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

At the moment, Sophie's Choice.

I'm on page 200. I was reading it on the plane from Spain, in between attempting to sleep.

I'm reading:

Broken Chords by Barbara Snow Gilbert. I can never get through it without sobbing, even though there is nothing inherently sad in it. I don't know why it affects me so much. Anyway, it's a great book, and I'm rereading it.

Ariadne's Clue by Anthony Stevens. It's interesting and information packed, but does get quite arid in spots.

To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. This is for school. I finished it a long time ago (I read ahead), but we're still discussing. It's interesting how all the books the school makes us read turn out to be really good.

There might be more..

Ooo-I read that a while ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I even did a book report on it.

I like To Kill a Mockingbird.
Sometime's it's on the GCSE Syllabus, but it's not for us...apparently we're doing a 'really weird collection of short stories' (my English teacher). Ho-hum. Don't start it 'til next year anyway.
