i love reading books with different scary stories in it. does anyone have any requests of good ones?

I have a really good ghost story book- its called Camp Fire GHost stries and its by Barbra Smith. Theres a ton of great shortish (less than 10 pages) stories in tehre. I took it to camp with me and it was a hit with the boys.

If you want some really good short stories, go for any of the Alfred Hitchcock books. My grandmother is a giant fan and got me hooked young. Just remembering some of those stories gives me the shivers. lol

Agatha Christie is another one to look up for spooky mysteries and such.

I love reading scary stories...but not ones in books.
I love going to websites and reading the "true" short ones people submit.
I know not all of them are real, but it's just scary to think that it could be.. ya know?

Alot of really good ones in that site that are supposedly true. I doubt hardly any of them are, but they're still a good scare. You won't be able to sleep or go to the bathroom alone after reading some of them heh

I have never read a story that scared me....shame, really...I'm one of those people who does NOT scare easily....

O O O pick me, pick me! Hey you could get The Scary Stories Treasury. It has all three of the scary story books. They will make you laugh, cry, and want your mommy. But if you want to borrow it just ask.

For easter I got this book called 'Gothic!' with 10 scary stories by various autors. They were all very high wuality, and very scary.
