Have you read this book? Did you like it?

I love it. Usually when I love a book I rave about it but I find I can't rave about this one. I simply feel very happy after I have read it and sometimes, more at peace with myself. It's a comfortable feeling.

I think one of the reasons why I like the book so much is because I think I would have liked Morrie Schwartz a lot as well. Sometimes books have a preaching tone to them, or assume things that might not be true and that cause me to rebel against. To me, this isn't preaching. The words come straight from a dying man's mouth (or so it claims, and I think I'll believe it) who isn't preaching, but teaching. I'm beginning to sound like an advertisement.

But I really do think that if you haven't read it, go out to your nearest library and borrow it. Read it once. It's not a thick book, it's not a hard book, but it's one of the best books I have ever read in my life.

Hmm...I have heard of it, and seen it a couple times, but there've always been other books I wanted more. Maybe if it's in the school library, I can start reading it during my free periods...

I read it last year in English. Well actually the teacher read it to us.
I loved Tuesday's With Morrie. It was so sad, yet touching.

I recently read The Five People You Meet in Heaven, by the same author, and I really enjoyed it; it was so different. I'm definetly going to be looking for Tuesdays With Morrie even more now, especially after reading that annoying first bit in the back of the other book. I hate when they do that, and always try not to read it, but it never seems to work. =P

I've read Tuesdays with Morrie, it took me only a couple of hours. It is indeed a meaningful book which had me close to tears at times.

Funny how this old topic kept alive, The day I first read this topic, I brushed it off. Same day my Economics Teacher told me to read it. He hadn't liked it, he gave it away cause it depressed him. I didn't think so.

I agree with you, Lil, and I don't mind advertising it.

I've heard of it, never actually got around to read it. I keep pushing my to-read list off.
