I'm currently on my Laptop that I just bought around about two months ago. Unfortunetly I've just had to hook it up to another monitor as mine is not working. When I booted up the PC today it started off fine and then all colour disapeered. The screen is now really dark but its not dead. I can faintly see for example what I'm currently writing and I can even see some colour, though they dont seem to be the right ones. I'm thinking this is probably a backlight issue and theres nothing I can do. I was just looking for a second opinion on that matter. Also I've never sent a laptop off to repair before, is it likely they would just change the monitor or give me a whole new one? I don't fancy installing 30gigs of Games and Software again. Thanks.

Oh by the way its a WXGA X-black LCD, if that's any help.
