MTV Real One Player

Sun Dec 05, 2004 3:51 am

I want Windows Media Player to be my 'default' Music Player for whenever I enter a CD-rom or download an mp3 file. Real One Player always pops up. *angry* Any way how to fix this?

open wmp and go to tools>options click on file types and check music cd playback and check mp3s for associating mp3 files with wmp.

btw, you probably could've written all that in a google search and have gotten your answer earlier =o

Well, bleh, I just, when installing, didn't select it to be my Default player. :P
Guess that was obvious... but don't lock this yet!
On MTV, whenever I select a music video that uses Real One Player, it just says that there was an error of some sort...

What browser are you using? Real Player often doesn't work properly for me on Mozilla.

well the question is...what was the error? and if you don't know then you can try reinstalling real playerr or look for updates

I'm using Netscape 7.2.

Here's the error:

'rtsp://ad.doubleclick.net/ad/mtv.mtvi/mediaplayer;dcove=r;mtv=ad;section_0=;vidAd=24;media=real;sz=240x180;ord=60137524?'
I don't get it. It says that I may be experiencing some network problems, but it's just fine. The only thing that doesn't work is the media. The audio is okay though.
