Internet Problems.

Tue Feb 01, 2005 2:06 am

Lately my internet has been popping up a window which says, "Internet Explorer has recieved an error. It will close now." or something along those lines. Than it will give me two options, "Don't Send" and "Send Error Report" and to make the internet work, I have to click "Don't Send" and the internet closes.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Nope. My computer does that too. You probably want to download something like spybot and run it to check if you've got bad stuff. If you're playing on neopets, it's a really small chance that you haven't gotten bad stuff (I get it all the time ^^, I run it every other day, about).

You also might want to update your IE. I'm on a computer that has things in Chinese, but I'll try. I think it's under tools > windows updates (on the file bar thing). And I'd love to help you from there, but I hope it's self explanatory because I can't find the link to make it all English (I'm Chinese, but I can't read like any ^_^)

first of all the internet is fine. You browser or something your browser did is jacked up. You could try a new browser like Firefox.

Yeah, my internet used to do that all the time. Once it did it while I was playing Petpet sitter and I had about 1800 points. >.>

Anywho, yeah, I would reccommend FireFox. Its the quick easy way to avoid that from happening.

... and yet no one leaves a link =ish amused= FireFox But I get problems with FireFox as well, or maybe it's just that my comp is all screwed. But if IE doesn't work for you, I'm not sure 'Fox will. I get this message like "Netscape Survey" or something like that and the FireFox goes BOOM. The only one I've known that doesn't go boom? Mozilla, Fox's predecessor (I think that's how that's spelled...or spelt... never firguted that one out either ... or is it both?).

Mozilla and firefox are two seperate "projects" if you will. I hear though that their architecture is nearly identical.

and as for a link Google

That used to happen to me back when I ran IE. Like the others said, use Firefox! It's just like IE. Plus, you have a less chance of getting a virus ebcause of one of the security holes they refuse to fix.
