No! Can't Change Wallpaper. Here's Why:

Wed Mar 09, 2005 4:23 am

Okay. I right-click on my desktop, select "Properties", and hit the "Desktop" tab. So far so good, but I notice that it takes a while to load. The hard drive is working hard. It never actually shows the preview of my current wallpaper before the error pops up. Run as DLL error. Here's some details:

AppName: rundll32.exe AppVer: 5.1.2600.2180 ModName: mshtml.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2900.2604 Offset: 0024e2b1

That's when I clicked for more info. Also, the panel is left open, frozen on the desktop until I go into the Task Manager, click on "Processes", click and select "End Process" for drwtsn32.exe.

Any ideas as to how to stop this error?

Hmm, I did some google-research, and it seems that some people have gotten rid of this error by running the Ad-Aware program (which you can download here: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ ). It's a very good program for removing spybots and such things!

This hasn't worked for everyone though, so... yeah, I hope it helps! Otherwise, running an anti-virus program might be a good idea...

Thanks! I was going to do that, but I decided to reformat since there were a multitude of problems on my computer.
