My computer had no trouble loading jpgs and gifs... but it never seems to load pngs. Could someone tell my what exactly pngs are... if they have an idea asto why my computer cant load them... and what I can do to fix it? Thanks!

pngs are just another type of picture format. I think my computer sees them with paint shop pro.

Portable Network Graphics. Nice alternative to GIFs at times (better compression on 256-color pallettes), and lossless truecolor at others [it also supports a transparency channel, which enables you not to antialias pictures against different backgrounds, but IE support for this is rather nasty]. Relatively new, but has been around of quite a while now, and should be readable by almost anything.

A newer version of windows (XP) would probably do the trick. IE6 should also display PNGs. (It is also possible that some program has messed up file associations)
