Ew, the net is an ugly place.

Okay, I think this may have something to do with the fact that the computer is in China, because this problem only happens on this computer. (And the laptop too)

What happens is, I cant view some of the images, mainly photobucket. But some photobucket I can see, like Cleo_Lo's, and most I cant, AKA mine. Some other images are affected by this, so... anyone know how to fix this? X_X

have you tried clearing your cache/cookies/history etc? thats usually the first place to try if you're having internet problems...

This is happening to me too, except it seems to have progressed to every image. Clearing temp. internet files does not work.
Maybe it's some sort of virus or spyware or something. Or both our computers are being jerks. Only explenations I can think of. :\

I think Photobucket was doing some maintenance, just parts of the site at a time. That happened with some other host that a bunch of PPTers used to use.

Can anyone see my sig and avatar? Yes right?

This seems to happen to JUST me. (And sunnie)

EDIT

I figured something out. If you change the img in front of the photobucket url to i2, you can see the picture. Anyone know any filters for IE? :P

Well I figured out a way to fix it.

Reformat the computer.

Of course if you don't wanna do that... *shrug* Dunno what to tell ya.

EDIT: Oh what the crap.
Images on PPT won't load anymore. D:

does this happen in all browsers?

Well, try clearing your Temporary Internet Files. Or increasing the amount alotted to it.

(Usually Tools->Options/Internet Options->Delete Files

or

Tools->Options/Internet Options->Settings->Amount of disk space to use)

Are you still having this problem with not seeing any photobucket images? I know on the PB forum this was brought up and after some investigating it was found that it was either 1 or 2 (don't remember exactly) ISP in China ... they have been blocking photobucket. You might want to check with your ISP to see if that's the problem.

Doesn't China block a ton of websites for fear of them spreading Capitalism and Democracy?

Are you being sarcastic? China IS communist. Censorship is everywhere, copies of microsoft software exclude words like "anarchy"
