Ever since yesterday, upon logging onto my desktop, I've gotten an error message nearly identical to the Blaster Worm one. It says something to the effect of "Program error, blah blah, must shut down, blah, NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM" and then goes on to say it will be shutting down in 60 seconds. The only difference between my error and the Blaster Worm error is the fact that on the Blaster Worm error, it says RPC, and on mine, it says DCOM.
I searched the error on google, and everything that came up was for fixing the Blaster Worm. I figured "Eh, sure. It might work." I ran the program "FixBlast," but it said that I didn't have Blaster Worm. I just restarted my computer, and the error popped up again. Can someone PLEASE tell me how I can fix this? ._.
(If it makes any difference, I'm running Windows XP and installed the updates for it this morning.)

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you may have
W32.Esbot.A
I'm no expert, but I have a good hunch that's what your problem is. You may want to try the removal tool in the above link.

Start Menu -> Run -> shutdown -a
Where to go from there, however, depends on what is going on with your PC.
