OMG, yes, down with Messenger Plus - it gives you pop-ups, even if it does let you have voice-recordings that nobody else can hear because they've had sense enough NOT to install Messenger Plus.

Hope everything works out. And if keep getting Internet Explorer script errors then why not switch to Mozilla Firefox for your Default Browser?

Messenger Plus is fine.
I've been using it for years.
All you have to do is not install the sponsor option.
