MP4 player help?

Recently I got an mp4 player. They're rather new. They're look like iPods but they can play movies and music videos.

Obviously, it's called MP4 for a reason. They can play mp4 files, or movies. However, you need to convert them using a special program that came with the Device, because when I solely tried to put movies on it didn't work.

So I tried using the Convertor and it worked for a couple of mpeg 12 Stones videos, but nothing more. HELP?

I used a program called Mpegable X4 Live to encode from other video formats (avi, mpg etc) to mp4 suitable for my SonyEricsson mobile phone. It's a very powerful (but not particularly easy to use) program which allows you to change the output file size, bitrate, audio properties etc to best match your playback device. It isn't free but there is a free demo version which does everything the full version does, but places a logo in the top-left corner of the output file image.

I'll go try that program; a logo won't really matter... it'll probably take a while, I'm not good with computer programs. XD
