I wanted to ask a question I had about AOL Instant Messenger, but I wasn't sure which topic it would best fit under. I only have a question about blocking something on it, and I wanted to know if you could do it or not before I got a new screename. I just wanted to know what topic it would fit best under before I posted. Thanks =)

At the top of the AIM window, click My Aim > Edit Options > Edit Preferences, when that window opens, click the Privacy tab on the left (it's the second one down), click "Add Name" on the right, to add the screennames of those you wish to block. You also have the option on the left, to allow only people on your buddy list to IM you.

That's the answer to my question. I stopped using IM before because a lot of people I didn't know where I IMing me and it annoyed me, and I thought I remembered an option that blocked people that weren't on your buddy list but I couldn't remember. Thanks =)
