CODER NEEDED!

Tue Jul 06, 2004 4:42 pm

Okay, could someone code this layout for me?

http://home.comcast.net/~xalaxracer/Neo ... layout.bmp

with the boxes as blogs, and the box with links, as a href (LINK)?

THANKS in advance!

This should work, as long as you don't add any text or anything before your layout. But if you have a neomail or random event on the page with the layout, the divs will be all messed up, but I'm not sure what to do about that (or if you even can do anything).

Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://home.comcast.net/~xalaxracer/Guild/Guildstyle.css" style="text/css">

<p align="center"><map name="FPMap0">
<area href="http://www.neopets.com/" shape="rect" coords="259, 104, 358, 136">
<area href="http://www.neopets.com/" shape="rect" coords="119, 104, 256, 136">
<area href="http://www.neopets.com/" shape="rect" coords="17, 104, 116, 136">
</map>

<img src="http://home.comcast.net/~xalaxracer/Neopets/USAlayout.bmp" usemap="#FPMap0" border="0"></p>

<div style="position:absolute; left:308px; top:353px; width:359px; height:155px; overflow:auto;">
TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.
</div>

<div style="position:absolute; left:308px; top:520px; width:359px; height:49px; overflow:auto;">
TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.
</div>

<div style="position:absolute; left:308px; top:590px; width:174px; height:155px; overflow:auto;">
TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.
</div>

I tried that, but it dosen't work multiresolution, I need a tr and td layout.

Ooh, yeah, didn't think of that...

Well, I also made a table one last night, but I don't know how you would turn the link buttons into links, unless you made them into separate images.

Code:
<div align="center"><table border="0" width="375" background="http://home.comcast.net/~xalaxracer/Neopets/USAlayout.bmp" height="560" cellspacing="1"><tr><td height="148" colspan="3" width="375"></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="3" width="7"></td><td height="166" colspan="2" valign="top" width="369"><div style="width: 360px; height: 155px; overflow: auto"><div style="padding: 2px;">

TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.
TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.
TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.
TEXT GOES HERE.

</div></td></tr><tr><td height="69" colspan="2" valign="top" width="369"><div style="width: 360px; height: 49px; overflow: auto"><div style="padding: 2px;">

TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.

</div></td></tr><tr><td width="186" valign="top"><div style="width: 175px; height: 155px; overflow: auto"><div style="padding: 2px;">

TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.
TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.

</div></td><td width="184" valign="top"><div style="width: 175px; height: 155px; overflow: auto"><div style="padding: 2px;">

TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.
TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE. TEXT GOES HERE.

</div></td></tr></table></div>

So if you want, you can make them into images, and I can position them on the table and what not. ;)
