Photoshop problem

This isn't a huge problem, but it's really starting to bother me and I don't know how to fix it.
When I click on a tool in my toolbar that has a submenu (like the marquee tool or the paint tool), instead of just selecting the tool like it used to, it automatically opens the submenu (in the past, I had to right-click to open that). Like I said, it's not an end-of-the-world type problem, but it's annoying for sure. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, and how to fix it, please help.

I'm not really sure what your problem is, but it seems to me that your mouse buttons are exchanged between the left and right.
Go to Control Panel>Mouse>Make sure the checkbox next to 'Switch primary and secondary button' is unchecked.

No, it's definitely Photoshop. My mouse works fine for everything else. I double-checked just to be sure, and the settings are the way they should be. Thanks for the suggestion though.
