I'd like to be able to watch video clips from CNN on my computer seeing as I don't have a television for the next few weeks. However, every time I click on a video link, a new window pops up and says "Plugin Warning - The CNN.com video experience is optimized for Windows Media Player 9 or above - No Windows Media Player detected". I know for a fact that I have the latest Windows Media Player as my computer just downloaded version 11-beta, which has also been installed now. I don't know if this is possibly a problem with my internet security or what. I can't get the video to work in any browser (IE or Mozilla-which I prefer). For internet security, I'm using Norton. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks a bunch!

It might be that CNN.com is only able to detect up to version 10. This sort of thing happened to me with flash. A site I was using required Flash 8, but since I had Flash 9, it complained.
Downgrade to WMP 10 and you *should* be ok. If you don't want to do that, reply and we'll try and figure something else out.

It wouldn't play when I had version 9 or 10. It's been a problem for a while now, but I just haven't gotten annoyed enough about it until recently.
