free webhosting space where I can build a page from scratch?

I want to learn CSS, so I need somewhere to practice. Does anybody know of a free webhosting service that allows me to build the webpage from scratch instead of using software? I signed up for geocities, but it doesn't let you edit the page yourself. You have to use a 'pagebuilder'.

Maybe your ISP has some. Comcast does, although I don't know if it allows that kind of editting.

You can practice CSS on your computer, just go to Notepad (or a text editor), put in the code you want, save it at filename.html, and then view it. But not always will it appear the same as on your computer and on the web.
