Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with some hardware I got, and I'm asking around for some solutions... hopefully someone here has this, has the problem, and can help me with it.
I borrowed the adaptor and the cd from a friend, and the first time I installed it and used it, it worked like a charm. That was a while ago though, and last night when I tried to use it again, I plug it in, and I got some horrible lag. Even after like, 20 minutes, the thing wouldnt work and the computer slowed down considerably. Unplugging it, I found that the lag remained, even 10+ minutes afterwards. I had to restart.
I tried uninstalling it, but when I put in the disk and hit OK to start the installer, it lags again. I tried downloading the software - same thing. I tried downloading it with my firewall off, again, same thing.
Does anyone have ANY solution as to how to fix this problem? I have Windows XP and my isp is Comcast if that has to do with anything.

I do own one of these Nintendo WiFi weird things, and I too get the same problem. Do you normally have fast internet?

hmm...I also have the WiFi USB connector, but i've never had this problem...So you installed it, un-installed it and re-installed it, correct? uh..the best advice i could give you is to try doing un- and re-instal it one more time, but i'm thinking it may be 'confused' by switching computers like this...

1st: How much disk space do you have (my computer>C:>properties), and how fast is your processor? Try freeing up some disk space and checking to see if you meet the minimum requirements.
2nd: May be a problem with the CD. Try blowing it off, etc.
3rd: Try using System Restore (control panel>system>system restore)
PM me and tell me if it helped?

I have a general networking problem that pops up every so often that causes my computer to slow to a crawl - "You may have someone still logged on to your computer." I have a home network, but the Wii makes use of the wireless router in my basement.
Anywho, I have no idea what causes this problem, but it sounds similar. Are you using WinXP or Vista?
