Is there any way to take a screenshot of a DVD and have it stay on your computer? I think I've heard about frame or image capture programs, but I wasn't sure. If such a thing exists, where can I get one for free?

I know I have encountered a DVD player program that can capture an image. Does your player have one? You can possibly find it by checking the help file. I know one program I used had it, possibly WMP, or something.

Other than that, I don't know any image capture programs since I don't use them.

You can use Fraps for capturing movement and UOSU for screenshots on hotkey.
