Just not in more colour then 16 colours.
It's like it works but only has 16 colours and no sound.

Hmm, a question, need to clear things out. You got a news graphic card, am I right? Have you installed drivers for it?

What hardware is it you have? Motherboard and soundcard etc.

Now how do I fix that?

By installing the drivers, first of all. That's the software that lets the video and sound work. If it came with your computer, it should be on a CD with the model name/number on it. Most likely, the CD would say "Drivers Disc" or something along that line.

If you can't find a CD, check the Device Manager: Right Click My Computer > Properties > Device Manager, look for Display Adapters. Expand the tree, and it should give you a model name. Do the same for "Sound, video, and game Controllers." You can most likely look those models up on the internet and find the software for them.

If the adapters are fried, you'll have to replace the adapters. Since it's integrated, you should get the motherboard replaced. Now that I think of it, since you say that the BIOS menu only appears for a second, a fried motherboard can be the reason for it.

Only one CD I have that is called Restore CD.
At the begining of this problem I used it and reinstalled the drivers....
Didn't do diddely squat.
(That sounded like FIDDELYSQUAT!)
Edit:
Looked in the My Computer>Properties>Device Manager thing and didn't find any of those trees.

Then you might have som "Unknown" things, at the beginning of the Device Manager? Hmm, just take a print screen of the whole thing :)

That would be kernel32.dll . It might help if you quote the error.

Something's wrong with your graphic drivers :/ gfxintel is a part of that :(
