When ever i log into Subeta i get this error:

Warning: ob_start(): output handler 'ob_gzhandler' cannot be used twice in /home/subeta/public_html/global.php on line 3

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare fatalerror() (previously declared in /home/subeta/public_html/global.php:47) in /home/subeta/public_html/global.php on line 47

Seems like its something with the site, try deleting cookies or a different browser.

Can anyone tell me how to install a webcam when i don't have the software for it and i don't know what make it is ? ?

It should be plug-n-play - just plug it into your computer, and reboot. If you have any version of windows (95 or greater), then the computer should automatically tell windows that it's detecting this new hardware, and windows will step you through the installation.

Oookay, whenever I click Open on a program, say Photoshop, Microsoft Word, or even a Browse button when I'm trying to upload stuff, it used to arrange everything by file type.

Now, it arranges everything by date last modified. Everytime I set it back to arranging by file type, when I exit the folder or click any option, it rearranges to date last modified.

It's not really a big problem, but it's bugging me to no end. Help would be much appreciated. :)

It's probably as simple as making sure that "auto arrange" isn't checked off.

Go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Windows Explorer.

Go to My Computer, then c:\

Right click on any whitespace on the righthand side of the window, and click on "Arrange icons." You're obviously doing this to attempt to rearrange them, but you should make sure that at the bottom, there' s no checkmark next to "auto-arrange." If there is, click it once so that it turns off.

If it ain't that, then I got nothing.

not sure if I'm meant to make a new thread for this but I'll just ask here.
Whenever I do a scan with Norton anti-virus it detects 6 pieces of Adware but it can't delete them. When I find them myself and try to delete them it says that the file is in use and can't be deleted. If it helps one of the file names that I have a lot of trouble getting rid of it C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools\WToolsA.exe can anyone tell me how I can get rid of this?

Meep, thanks for the help...but it rearranged everything according to type for Windows Explorer. The Open menus aren't changing. XP

Or maybe if I restart all my programs or something it'll work. Or clicking "Type" then "Auto-arrange". If the problem goes away, I'll keep you posted. ;D

Is there any way to disable Windows Messenger? It keeps on randomly signing me off MSN Messenger by somehow automatically logging in randomly whenever I'm on the Internet, or at least that's what I think causes it. I can't uninstall Windows Messenger, and I know there's got to be a way to disable it, yet I can't find it.

By Windows Messanger, would you mean the Messanger Service which pops up in the grey boxes?

Tricky. Try "Add Remove Programs" -> "Add/Remove Windows Components" -> Uncheck "Windows Messenger".

Right, done! Thank you! ^_^

Flash/Shockwave problems on Neo

Tue Nov 02, 2004 12:44 am

Glass Miracle, isn't that Windows Messenger a nightmare? I thought I was losing my mind when I first got XP, turned the puter on and started getting those pop-ups every couple of minutes.

OK, This is long because I want to try to give you all the info I can think of.

I'm having a Flash/Shockwave problem. Only on Neopets, not on the Macromedia site (or anywhere else) - been there, uninstalled and reinstalled both Flash and the latest Shockware (standalone version). Also updated DirectX to 9.0. Have all XP and IE updates (except SP2 - that almost destroyed my computer so I got rid of it), around 90% resources free (80g hd), I clear cookies, temporary internet every day, clear out graphics about once a month (just reset to 0, log out, log back in, set to around 40). AMD Athlon1800, Nvidia Hercules graphics/video. Have had my tech look at and test everything, removed stuff I wasn't sure of from my start-up, so I don't have 20 things running when the puter's on - just a/v, spybot, spywareblaster basically is what starts when the computer boots up.

Now, after the DirectX upgrade, reinstalling and testing Flash and Shockwave to make sure they were both installed, I went to the Macromedia games spot. Everything is fine (yes, it takes awhile for the games to load) - smooth graphics, no pause, hesitation, nothing. So I go to Neo, and tried Igloo Garage sale game and then Kiko match, also Usuki frenzy. First of all when I click to play I usually get a black screen and have to wait for the preloader - which sometimes starts out moving really slow and sometimes moves really fast - then a little bit of black screen again before the actual game screen is there.

On Igloo as the things fall, they kind of fall ... like ... this, instead of fall like this. Kiko match when a square is clicked sometimes it takes a double click and it doesn't just change. Usuki frenzy, when Sally picks something up there's like this little *pause* before she starts walking again. Does any of this make any sense? Hard to explain. My tech is totally frustrated, as he and another tech have seen this in action now and neither (one's a huger gamer and knows shockwave well) can figure out what the problem is.

So, I come to you all, who know so much about computers. The only thing I don't have is high speed - I'm on dial up. But even changing quality on the games (recommended on Neo for slower computers) doesn't help, just makes the graphics look cruddy.

Any ideas? Or have I put you all in a coma with too much information
