I really dont know where else I could put this so...

for a while now i've been trying to watch some clips on winamp, and the video screen for it just wont show up! no matter what I try it won't work. any suggestions?

(and yes i have tried other video players and i've had the same luck with those too )

I've always had a problem with winamp not playing certain types of files, I use videolan http://www.videolan.org/ to play most file types it plays practically everything and what doesn't play in there I use windows media player.

What type of clips are the video?
I know that for AVIs, winamp can play the music, but it can't play the video.

I generally use Real Player for videos, and Media Player when it doesn't work.

I remember having a similar problem with Winamp. You have to find a plugin for it I think. I believe it had something to do with DivX.
