Turn it upside down and bang it! :D

Cans of compressed air come in handy. You can get them at Wal-mart's electronics section.

I agree with SpiraLethe. Not on the tipping upside down and banging it part though...

...You should get a can of compressed air from your local Wal-Mart. If it comes with a little straw looking thing, attach it, and stick it under the keys. All the dust will shoot up from the spaces between the keys. If all else fails, use a dry clean cloth.

I've never seen them there. I personal sugest (sp?) a small knife and a steady hand but you might not want to try that...

Takes too long. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush head.

the vacuum works well
so does the can of compressed air.
Doesnt hurt to turn it upside down and bang it (gently of course)
also a bit of rubbing alchohol and a qtip for the grungy keys (unplug it first)

My tip for after hoovering if you don't want to use a toothbrush is to use antibacterial surface spray like Dettox and use cotton buds. Don't spray directly on the keyboard. Spray into a cap, then dip the cotton bud in. Oh yeah, and don't do it when the computer's on.

There was one time where we used bleach on it. It worked, although it did take most of the letters off the keyboard as well. Thank god we can touch type.
