I'm trying to play a movie that I just got but none of the media players I have will play it. So I was wondering if anyone took a look at the files they could tell me how I could play them? Do I need to convert them to another format somehow?

It's a split rar archive, you need winrar to unpack them. I'm not sure if there is a free version or not, google would know ^^; Once you've got that you unpack the one that ends .rar and it'll unpack everything for you

Following on from file types, how can I play the file sk_lavareef.it.gz ?

It's some game music I wanted, but couldn't find it anywhere else, and now am stuck with a file type I can't play anyway. Help, please?

.gz is another zipping type, like .zip. If I remember correctly (and I may not), but I think that WinZip will open it, as will most other free unzipping programs.
