So, does anyone use the SMF (Simple Machines Forum) System, I Do.

I don't, but it seems an efficient system that doesn't have a hard learning curve (for the non-staff member, at least). However, I prefer phpBB.

We used YaBB on PPT a long, long while ago. Being a CGI/flatfile-based forum, it didn't handle the load well. YaBB.SE was YaBB written for php/mysql, and SMF is the same thing as YaBB.SE (that was renamed, then updated a couple of times).

Personal opinion, SMF default theme looks UGLY.

I've used SMF, but mostly for testing. I like how they handle styles. I prefer wtcBB though (even above vBulletin).

SMF is very functional and it has tons of features, which is nice.

Yep, I use it, and I love it I've never really liked phpbb, SMF feels so much more customizable (is that a word? ).
