The upstairs computer has a new router.
I have a DLINK card in one slot of my computer and it has an active connection to the internet by pulling the signal from the router upstairs. It gives me 11 mps.
It used to give me 22mps before the new router was bought.



The new router has a card called a
GVC Realtek ethernet 10/100 PCI. I put this card into another slot in my computer so that I would have an internet access avaliable if I needed to do anything online to get the new card to work.

So now I have a DLINK in one slot which has an active connection and my GVC in another slot. When I go to network connections I see my dlink connection which works, and the new LAN connection to my GVC that I can't get to work. I have tried updating the driver, but it says it already has all the drivers it needs and it can't find any new ones. I just can't get this new card to work now. I could potentially have 54mps instead of the 11 if I could just get this card to work!
