Okay, so I use Windows Movie Maker to edit together clips and whatnot to make videos. The only problem with this is, when i go to save it, the only file option i'm given is "Windows Movie Maker Projects [*.MSWMM]" and youtube doesn't accept that file type. Is there any way to either A) Get a different option for saving the video or B) find a way to get that file type up on youtube? thanks in advance!

Try the "Save Movie File" option in the file menu bar.

File -> Save Movie File

That will save the movie as a Windows Movie File (.wmv). I haven't uploaded anything to Youtube, so I really don't know whether or not that's an acceptable format or not. If not, try to get a video conversion software like Super and convert the file to the file extension of your choice.
