So I have a flashy iPod Touch and I want to put some videos on it (tv shows probably). Now can I do this with videos I already have downloaded, or do I have to buy shows from iTunes? I'd rather watch shows for free :).

I can put short clips on, like a few minutes long, but I can't seem to do it with longer videos.

You should be able to put shows you've downloaded on your ipod as long as they are in a format the iPod supports (like mp4, .mv4 or .mov). Most videos that get downloaded are .avi, so you would need to convert those.

I recommend this program for converting your videos for your ipod:
http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/

It's very simple to use (It has detailed walkthroughs) and even adds the video straight to your iTunes as soon as it's done converting. :)

Oops sorry..I assumed Windows. I did a bit of searching and found this free program for Macs called iSquint. You can download it here:
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/19769/

This site also has a very basic walkthrough for it (you need to scroll down):

I forgot to thank you. So thanks! This program is fabulous.

Where are you finding these things? When I tried searching for a Mac program, all I got was demo ones.

Same here Ammer, I recommend it to everyone!

Regan: It was easier finding one for the Mac than Windows. When I tried to find one for myself a few months ago all I was finding was programs for Macs! All I did was search stuff like "convert video for ipod" or "video to ipod mac" (or replace with Windows). I ended up finding the tutorial for yours first, and then looked through it for a free program that looked simple enough to use.
