So they gain strength when they're beaten? Hah. I never realised that.
Personally, though, it's not so much about the opponent's strength, yet, as it is about my own patience. I have little.
Here's how BD opponents work: their strength and defence boosts are the same as their hit points. So when you start with these guys, all three of them are below the 20 boosts and therefore very weak. Their weapons don't do much damage and they can't block much of your attack. But as you fight them more and more, their hit points go up, and therefore, so do their strength and defence boosts. Their weapons don't change, but they will start doing more damage and blocking more of your attacks with those weapons. Once their strength and defence are higher than yours, you will start to find them more difficult.

Hehe, sorry, this is my first war. I'm glad we have some weak opponents to start with, so I can at least fight a bit, before they get to hard for my poor newbie pets.
There's something odd though. When I'm in a battle, where you can type a message, it says this:
"You cannot type messages while you're under 13, without parental permission.
You can select a message to send from the list below:"
Which wasn't there before. Not that it really matters, I'm not fighting a real person so I have no desire to say anything. I just wonder why it's like that, since it wasn't there before when I battled, and I am not under 13.

Yep! I posted an explanation in the other thread. I'll repost:Here's how BD opponents work: their strength and defence boosts are the same as their hit points.
