I defend three rounds with Large Metal Shield and Golden Geraptiku Talisman. Then I do a fierce attack with Caustic Potion and Scroll of Flame Strike. That usually KO's him in one shot, and my pet is only level 17 with 10 HP. :D

can you level up by battling in the battledome? or is it only by faires, the academy and the training school?

No, you cannot. Training is the main way to go, though there are some items that can improve your stats, as well as random events. Coltzon's Shrine can also increase stats.

Faeries do not change your stats, but give you special abilities that you can use in battle.

Yea, that was *very* amusing :P

As long as you survive the first few turns, your opponent practically turns into a 'punchbag bug'

:o omg...I'm totally battling him a little more...I just tested this and it's true...

thank goodness for no lag. I just started a few mins ago and I've already beat him 13 times. I'll be able to knock him out first round for a looooong time to come. I think I'll set my goal to beating him at least 50 times then I'll think about going on more.

To those who are using the "wait until he runs out of weapons" method, be careful. A minute ago he didn't do anything for 2 rounds, then I berzerked him and he took 150 out of me. So... I guess it's random when he uses his weapons.

I'm at 175, bored out of my skull, going to go do homework (yes, THAT bored, lol) and then try for 200 later.

For those with pets that aren't very strong I would HIGHLY suggest purchasing a leaf shield now because for the past 17 rounds he hasn't been able to touch me using mine and I'm hitting him with berzerk.

I'm still beating him with ease. Well I have 2: 10 icon damagers!

Thank goodness I started training my pet when I did! Several weeks ago I thought it was nearly time for a new plot and put Floodu in for training to get his strength up to the next boost, and now I'm only a few points away from it. :) Should have no problem reaching it in time for the semi-serious baddies.

Those who don't normally battle: patient visiting of the Healing Springs every half-hour can get your pet's health boosted above its maximum. However, it's only good for the first BD round. For example, if you have 50/15 HP and your opponent hits you for 10 damage in the first round, you will have 15/15 HP the next round. If you have 50/15 and your opponent hits you for 60, you will go down to 5/15. However, if you are boosted over your max and then get healed to 'full' by the Healing Springs faerie, Wheel of Excitement or whatever, you will go back down to your regular max.

The 'level 1' thing under weapons was never there before. Faerie abilities have always had meaningless levels, but never weapons.

I'm quite annoyed with this "level 1" thing under my weapons. I have spent a LOT of np on these things for it to come down to levels. :(

Dont buy a Leaf Shield now, it is HIGHLY inflated.

I didn't even check the price of it, sorry! :)

Burrow works well, too, if you have it.

I always think I should buy a leaf shield, but I never do because OMG 6k, and then a plot starts and they shoot up to 50k and I really need one. :/

My pet has 54 hp and kinda mixed stats (lab pet). If people are just now buying shields and whatnot, I'd suggest the Shiny Shoal Shell Shield. It's not a good as the leaf shield, but it works ok...and is much cheaper, which is key.

My method includes using the SSSS and Golden Geraptiku Talisman til the bug has used all his weapons. Then I use my scarab ring and obsidian dagger til he's dead. I also have my blue scorchstone in my inventory just in case. He usually inflicts about 15 hp of damage on me.

Not the most efficent, but I've beaten him 40+ times and I am not a battler.

Thanks to my Ramtors Spellbook, plus Royal Wedding Ring, plus pet with lots of HP, I could avoid defending myself and got 50 wins easily. I think wins will be capped around 50 anyway (that is if they choose to cap wins) and anyway I'm getting bored, so meh :P
I'm just hoping the next part is a puzzle.
