I would be really surprised if we didn't have a new plot step tonight. I'm hoping for a war, but a massive, site-wide search activity like the graveyard digging in ToW wouldn't be so bad either.

I was late for that step and missed a TONNE of points...I'm for hoping a straight out war; that way at least I get point for how much baddies I take with me, lol...

I thought the graveyard digging didn't actually count towards plot points, since there was a chance at rewards...?

I'm open to any sort of new plot step, though. Battling, digging, whatever. :)

No news yet. Odd. Usually they announce when the are going on break.

But any plot step would be good for me.

Maybe they're making sure the new plot part is perfect. </wishful thinking>

TNT did state that Monday was a holiday for them.

Quote:
16th and 17th February

Monday is a holiday here in the USA so there will be no news, but we promise to have more of your favourite news on Tuesday! Have a great weekend!

The plot board is going frantic (as I think we all are) waiting on the news update.

I am refreshing every minute - now watch the site crash!!

I've only found one codestone and that was when I was playing pyramids (html refresh every time you put in a card).
However when a plot comes up I do find myself training my primary pet. My secondary just goes through the lab and deadly dice so that I'm not too worried about what happens if there's a battle approaching.

My strategy is not to use any neopoints that I have in the bank.
I play the games, get enough points for training and use them.
I'm generally working on endurance - which I think is the way to go for Toraurora at this point.
If you want to see my pets, my name on neopets is Katdragon.

Your pet has nice even stats.

Do you know about Boosts?

You are close to the next Boost of 55, you might want to train her up to that in Strength.

Agility (Movement) isn't important, as I don't think it does anything in the battledome (a more experience battler might shed some light on this). So you don't need to 'level up' on Agility.

Anyone else think Step 2 is a little too "challenging"? I've been working for at least an hour trying to decode one of the three-mod letters, and chances are I'll have to try at least a few more to get the right one, if I'm lucky (more likely it'll be the very last one. I saw on that petpage that it's not necessarily one of the non-Orns.) Is it just me, or does anyone else not remember anything this hard in previous plots?

No, I never officially left; yes, I am gone forever. I have also permanently left AIM. If you need to contact me, drop a line on LJ. Same username.

There are a few BD items that require certain movement stats, but for the vast majority of battlers it does nothing. :)

KatDragon: You could train your Kacheek's str/def to the 55 boosts, but personally I'd use the Acara. The HP more than makes up for crappy defense, and the strength is better than the Kacheek's as well. :)

Also, with me anticipating battle I'm starting to notice that the lab has been slowly chopping away at my stats. My strength, defense, and level are all down. HP hasn't, but it CAN'T go down. X.x Also, I went to go train level because I have quite a few codestones in the SDB (at least one of every kind except orn, multiples of the rest) and wouldn't you know it, I get asked for Orn. Do you think TNT plans this? XD

[An answer to an off-topic question: NQ games aren't saved on your computer; they're saved with your pet -- so you have to have the pet that's playing NQ as your active pet in order to reach your game. I've gone through both I and II on normal and am 2/3 of the way through I on evil, and I definitely played on both my home and my work computers for normal (though this was several years ago -- before the avatar was released). A caveat: I thought I had gotten to the jungle ruins in NQI on evil, trying for the avatar (probably also a few years ago; perhaps in early 2006 or maybe even 2005), but when I tried to get back into the game recently, it was gone (I checked all my pets). So I'm not 100% sure what happened to it, but I definitely switched computers. However, Neopets is an internet-based game, so it doesn't make sense to me that you'd lose your game by logging on a different computer -- people are constantly upgrading their systems (and what about the poor players who don't have a home computer?). I think either I imagined re-playing, somehow accidentally quit the game, or it got deleted because it was too old/revamped/server crashed/oops.] [/end off-topic explanation]

Back on-topic: News is late. I smell plot! I hope it's not too time-consuming (or at least not timed), because I've got a lot of work for the next week.

P.S. Arogance1, I haven't forgotten my offer to assist you by doing one of your 3-mods and then giving you a hint to help solve it yourself. I'll be flying for much of the day this Sunday and Saturday 3/1, and I might as well bring some puzzles to do on the plane. So if anyone else wants to PM me with screenies of your puzzle, I'll offer to do one/person and give you a hint -- just know that I won't actually get to it until Sunday (or next Saturday). First come, first served! I'll take ~5 to start, and if I get them all done Sunday, I'll post again offering more help for the following Saturday.
